I’ll take you with me to my destination wedding adventure in beautiful Greece. Last year I met Michael & Irini and their son Ivo in my studio. It was a very pleasant conversation. They told me about their two weddings in Netherlands and Greece. They wanted me to photograph both weddings. The Dutch wedding was held at the beautiful venue Huize Scherpenzeel . It was a hot day and the Greek family members were alseo there. It was very nice to get to know the guests, and to see them in Greece again.
In July the wedding took place at The Island Club in Varkiza, Greece. They were already busy with the preparations in the summer house of Irini’s parents. There I was warmly welcomed and they offered me all sorts of goodies. After a couple of hours at their home, l Michael and I left to the wedding venue. Breathtaking, what a nice view and what a great location! I had to pinch myself that I was really there.
Irini came a little bit later and we started with the photo shoot. They were already familiar with my way of working. That made the shoot even easier. In the meantime the evening guests came and welcomed the couple with loud applause. After a short Greek ceremony, it was time for dinner. The tables were nice styled by the wedding planners of Kefi Events. The dance started of course with the Sirtaki! It looked very easy, but I couldn’t do it myself !They went partying all night long! I enjoyed it every second!
